Hello, I have been using PSPX for a long time and like it alot. My problem is I just got a new computer, with Vista of course and I had a very hard time getting it to work. Corel says it doesn't support X anymore. I finnally got it to work but none of the 3rd party pulgins work, I keep getting memory exception errors. Has anyone heard about this? |

This is a common problem with Vista. There are several threads in the forum discussing plugins and Vista. Some will work and others will not. Did you get the PXP-x update for vista? I believe it's version .10? You need .01, .02, .03 and then install .10 (for Vista).
Try searching the forums for 'plugins' (search 30 days and OLDER) You should find several discussions about plugins and Vista,
Check with the writer of the plugin too. Some have updated their plugins to work on Vista.
I hope this helps |

Thanks for replying I believe I've solved most of the problems by adding those .dll files that PSP needs. But there are still plugins out there that wont work with Vista I'm sure. |

For some of those you will need to check with the maker of the plugin to see if a Vista version has been released. |

What happens if you get a popup when trying to add a filter to Vista that tells you that you may need administrative privileges except I'm already logged in as adminstrator? I asking for someone who has Vista. I don't. |

I have Vista and am also logged in as admin. The worst I get is a pop-up that says my permission is needed to continue. I can grant or cancel. (May not be in those words but you get to give permission or not.) |
