following on from a previous post ref batch process for resizing a group of pics, thats easy enough to record but how about if you want to optimise a load of pics? I want to reduce a load of pics down to about less than 100kb which in my case will be by around 20% but I cant get this to work. I'm not doing something right so any tips please?

Use the File > Batch Process command. Select "New Type" as the Save Mode. In Options select a small size for the web, etc. You may have to experiment with this a couple times. Put the output in a sub-folder or make sure you change the file name with the New File Name: option. You can also write a Script to run in the Script Box as an alternative method.

Just needed a nudge in the right direction thank you. I wasn't doing "new type" and missing the "options" tab altogether!!
