I'm working on a hunting type web page with pictures posted of anyone's trophy and other stuff including a forum..... Could anyone tell me anything about the forum thing.

the ins and outs the problems, the software, which i'm told is free with my web page. and any other thing you might come up with.  I'm new at this but I have a good idea.

Thanks,
Nate

If you are using a forum provided by your host, they should have some documentation for you to follow.

Nate you are not going to be able to do any of this without taking lessons. There are some freebies on the web.

I am sorry, I wouldn't know about your web hosts forum.... do they have a support forum where you could go and ask? If not, IPB have recently released a free version of their forum which seems popular. If you google IPBfree you should find it. Also Invisionfree. There are others too... google free forums, register and try them out... they all have free support forums which are usually really helpful.... they are also pretty easy to set up. Have a look through their directories, you'll get an idea how they could look. If you don't like them either delete the board or just leave it alone... you will usually get ads on the free forums but on some free ones you have the option to turn them off... You'll probably need to play around with a few forums to see which you prefer... then you can add an image link or menu button on your web page as a direct link
