Installing 8BF filters, Need Help Please

Hi Group,

I'm having issues getting Gregs Factory Output filters to work in PSP vX2. I extracted the filters into my filters folder where I keep my filters organized by sub folders. I can clearly see the filters in Effects/Plugins/.. and they are not greyed out. But when I attempt to click on any of these .8BF filters to apply them to a selection (Effects/Plugins/GregsFactoryOutput/anyfilter.8BF), I get the following error message:

"Unable to load the requested plug-in filter. The plug-in may not be installed properly or may be missing files. (Plugin: GSINBLB2.8FB)"

I realize these may be very old filters that have not been updated so the solution may be something I have to add to my window system dir? I've used these filters successfully in older versions of PSP, way back to PSP3 to v9 but I'm not running any of those versions now. I'm using v10X in Win7. Has anyone been able to find a solution for this issue?

TIA, Barb

PSP crashes when deleting a file within PSP

Hi everybody,

I've been using PSP X2 Ultimate for quite some time now but at some time a weird problem appeared. It is the only problem and I can't go back in time with System Restore or something like that (and not worth all that trouble either), but I wondered if someone else noticed this and maybe even knows the solution.

The problem is that when I hit the recycle bin icon within PSP to delete a file that is open PSP crashes. It didn't do that before, but I don't know exactly when it started.

I don't use the feature really often, but when you are working on several files and you delete one and another hasn't been saved yet, it is quite annoying.

So any advise you might have (apart from reinstalling PSP) is very welcome.

Best regards,
Nessuno
