Membership Agreement

The Paint Shop Pro Users Group offers many benefits to our members. In order to maintain a high-quality network, we ask that our members respect and follow a few guidelines as set out below. By joining the Paint Shop Pro Users Group, you are stating that you understand and agree to these terms.

1. Copyright: The content and graphics on this site are copyrighted 1997-2003. No part of this Web site can be used, published, copied or sold for any purpose without the written permission of the owner. The Graphics Chronicle is also protected by these same copyright laws. Members who have submitted graphics to display on our site are also protected under the copyright of this site. All submissions must be original graphics created by the member and the Paint Shop Pro Users Group does not assume responsibility of any liabilities or damages incurred should the members graphics be considered an infringement of other copyrights. The Paint Shop Pro Users Group assumes that the members graphics are originals.
   
   
2. Members Sites: All submissions are subject to review and may be rejected for any reason. The following reflect the types of sites that we do not accept: Adult sites with pornographic images or links; Software trading (warez), MP3, and hacking/phreaking sites; Sites promoting the use or commerce of tobacco, alcohol, or other abused substances; Sites that contain content that includes adult language, references to sexuality and bad obscene language.

   Webmasters of these sites may join the Paint Shop Pro Users Group, but may not list their sites in any of our directories nor list their URL in correspondence to other members, on the Message Forum or in the Study Session. If a Web Site has objectionable content in context with the above, Webmasters may request a special consideration by ensuring that the URL linked page has a notice of such content.
   
   

3. Netiquette: As a member, you agree to be respectful of the rights and privileges of other members. Use of other members e-mails for any other purpose than personal correspondence will not be tolerated. Members agree to not Flame, Spam, Slander, or treat other members with disrespect. This includes posts to the Message Forum as well. All members are entitled to their opinions and we expect members to use respect when voicing these opinions. Should there be a disagreement, we would prefer to deal with these issues in a more private manner through the use of e-mail. Please send any correspondence of this nature to : director@pspug.org and we will moderate all disputes in order to resolve problems.
   
   
4. Use of the Paint Shop Pro Buttons & Banners: Only those graphics placed in the Banners & Buttons section will be allowed to be used on other sites. All other graphics on this site are copyrighted and will need the written authorization of the owners to use them in any way. All graphics used from this site should have the proper credits and a link back to the Paint Shop Pro Users Group Web Site.

General

1. We reserve the right to cancel, withdraw, or suspend membership, in part or in whole, at any time, effective immediately upon sending electronic mail to the address you have provided us.
   
   
2. You agree to not misrepresent our web site, or to deceive or encourage others in any way to link to our advertisers web sites, except via the banner HTML provided by us. You may not post solicitations to visit our advertisers web sites within newsgroup postings, on chat forums, in e-mail, or any other wide or narrow Internet broadcast method.
   
   
3. These rules are subject to change at any time. You are responsible for complying with any new rules posted here within fifteen (15) days of the date changes are posted.
   
   
4. Violation of any of the above rules is grounds for immediate termination of your membership without payment for accrued clicks.
