How I did it...

Using PSP8:  

• Enhancement - once
• Adjust/ soft focus with a light halo and very soft focus.
• After removing the orig background I replaced it with something more serene.
• This photo was a challenge, as one subject was very strong and the other one less so.
• I attempted to bring them together in one clearer look.
