Winter Sunrise

How I did it...

• I used PSP8
• I started by duplicating the layer and turning the duplicate layer into a negative image.
• Then changed the blend mode to 'exclusion'.
• Next I merged the two layers together and applied a user defined effect, the settings that I used were saved from a previous project.
• I gave the picture a ragged edge by applying a mask and darkened the edges by selecting the area around the image and applying a drop shadow in dark brown.
