How I did it...

• I used PSP8
• As with the first image I played with, I duplicated the layer, changed the top one to negative and played with the blend mode, then merged.
• I applied an outside filter next. It was Xero's 'illustrator'.
• Then I copied the original image and pasted as a new layer and changed the blend mode of the layer.
• Although I liked the result, it was a bit dark, so I merged the layers and used PSP's 'one step photo fix'.
