I used PSP v8
- I first reduced the image to 80% of the original size.
- I used the Enhance Photo || One Step Fix
- I again used Enhance Photo but this time just with Clarify.
- I then duplicated the layer and on new layer applied the Warp Distortion Effect with default values.
- I reduced this layer's image to 80%.
- I made a selection around this image and then used the Circle Distortion Effect.
- I made a selection around the circle image, created a new layer and then added the cutout effect using a pinkish color from the photograph and values of zero for both horizontal and vertical and 100% for both opacity and blur.
- I set the mode to luminance legacy and reduced the opacity to about 75%.
- I then merged all, added the white preset frame and then added the black taped frame.
Time: About 1/2 hour.
Goal: My objective was to blend the photo back onto it's original. I did experiment with different effects and when I tried the warp distortion effect I liked the way it created an eye looking result. After enhancing that image I lowered its opacity so it would blend into the background photo.
