"Nightmare"
I am beginning to think of consequences everywhere I go. This bridge made me think of it falling down, being hit by something, visibility suddenly being obscured, possible vertigo!
On different layers I put the eagle, a globe, magnifying glass effect, selection of the bridge. Where I am in the Midwest, on the Mississippi River between Iowa and Illinois, we are a haven for the raptor know as the Bald Eagle. I just counted five of them on a quick 5 mile trip up and down the road. So I had to put an eagle in as a sign of hope [to me].
The circle was going to be an evil smiley taunting me but I left it as just a disk - causing the viewer to ask why? What does it all mean :) [I dunno!].
The selection of the bridge I distorted by pulling it to the extreme borders so it filled the entire frame. I selected the bridge on the original image which I had promoted to a layer and used the distortion to angel it to the right. Another layer had the flame tube spattered all over. As a final touch I added a layer of white.
Then I played with each layers opacity and other effects till I got something I never wanted to face :)
