Please download the Glass Bowl file where you
will find all the selections necessary to complete the glass bowl. Place them in
your selections directory. If you do not have a selections directory under
C:\Program Files\Jasc Software Inc\Paint Shop Pro 6 (if C is where you have
installed your PSP), then just create a new folder in this location and name it
"selections". Unzip all the files in the bowl zip to that location.
This
tutorial is written only for version 6 not 5, A tutorial for users with Version
7 is also available.

Begin by
creating a new image 400 x 400 pixel, with a black background. You need a dark
background in order to see your design as it develops. Set your foreground color
to fading background gradient and background color to white. If you are
using PSP6, set foreground to black and background to white.
In PSP6, you will use your
fill tool (bucket) with the following settings:
Style: sunburst
gradient Blend Mode: normal Paper texture: none Match mode: RGB value Tolerance: 200 Opacity: 100 Sample merged: either setting
Click on the second tab in
the tool options palette to access the settings for the gradient and continue to
use the settings as given throughout the tutorial.:
