Eye Candy Fire Text

You will need a registered version of the Alienskin's Eye Candy filters for this tutorial.
|
|
Start with a new image,
white background and 16 million colors.
make it high enough to accomodate the flames. You can crop it back to size later.
|
|
Click on the text tool.
|
|
Type in some text.
Move towards the bottom of your image.
|
|
Promote the selection to a new layer (shift+ctrl+p) or go to
Selections || Promote to Layer
|
|
Effects || Plugins || EyeCandy Fire
Use these settings:
Flame Width - 19
Flame Height - 10
Movement - 30
Inside Masking - 32
Edge Softness - 6
Random Seed - 1
Natural

Your image will look like this now.

Use these settings:
Flame Width - 8
Flame Height - 100
Movement - 47
Inside Masking - 46
Edge Softness - 6
Random Seed - 10
Natural
